In medical school she started using food to cope with stress and feelings of inadequacy. Over the years, she has lost and gained weight more times than she cares to remember, until she learned the skills and got the support needed to change her relationship to herself and to food.
What Dr. Woode love most about what she does is hearing stories of how clients have addressed areas in their lives that were causing them stress and how they have reframed their thoughts about food.
When not working, she enjoys taking pictures of nature on daily walks or doing jigsaw puzzles with her husband and son.
